Service Description
【Authentic Tosa Washi Paper Making with a Master Craftsman】 This course offers a full day of immersive experience, covering every step from material preparation to paper-making and finishing. You will gain a profound, hands-on understanding of the process by which washi transforms from plant fibres into paper. Furthermore, you can create your own artwork using the washi paper you have made. ※For groups exceeding three people, please contact us via the enquiry form. Due to system constraints, this site allows bookings within 10 days. However, for material preparation and process coordination, we typically request bookings made at least 10 days in advance. Should you wish to book within 10 days, kindly consult us beforehand via the enquiry form. We shall endeavour to accommodate requests where possible. We strive to ensure all participants can join with peace of mind and appreciate your understanding. Works available for creation (choose one) ・Tosa Washi tapestry ・Lampshade ● Basic fee: ¥40,000 (tax included) ● Duration: 1 day (approximately 6 hours) Options ※ Interpreter support can be added as an optional service (+¥10,000 / advance reservation required).
Cancellation Policy
Notice If you cancel for personal reasons, the following cancellation fees will apply: Up to two days before: No charge One day before: 50% On the day of the reservation: 100% If we must cancel your reservation due to our circumstances, no cancellation fee will be charged. All prices include tax. For customers who have already made a reservation, the previous price will be honored. Same-day changes to your plan (adding interpreter device support) may not be available depending on equipment availability.
