I hope that through various experiences related to handmade washi paper, people will remember the way our ancestors lived, quietly and slowly gaining information and wisdom from nature.

井上手漉き工房では、仁淀川の清流と自然素材を使った土佐和紙の手漉き体験を、目的や時間に合わせてお選びいただけます。

A plan to enjoy making Tosa washi paper works
Basics of Tosa washi making taught directly by craftsmen
Experience traditional papermaking and create either a tapestry or a lampshade with your own handmade washi. Beginner-friendly. Optionally,
try the traditional nagashi-zuki method.
Discover Japanese craftsmanship as artisans guide you through the full washi-making process, from raw materials to papermaking.
