Experience making traditional Tosa washi paper by hand

Service Description

【Tosa Washi Craft-Making Experience Plan】 This is an introductory course for beginners. While learning the basics of washi papermaking, you will create your own original work using the washi you make by hand. You will also experience the traditional Nagashi-zuki hand-papermaking technique. It is a casual and enjoyable workshop where you can feel the charm of traditional craftsmanship. Choose one item to make (choose one): Tosa Washi Panel Art Lampshade ● Basic Fee: ¥10,000 (tax included) ● Duration: Approx. 120 minutes Optional interpreter service: ¥10,000 per group. Please request this service when booking. Advance reservation is required.

※Please note: Should you cancel your reservation for personal reasons, the following charges will apply: ・Up to two days prior: No charge ・One day prior: 50% charge ・On the day: 100% charge (Should we cancel your reservation for our reasons, no cancellation fee will be charged to you.)

The Tosa washi papermaking experience is available for 1 to 3 participants.
